CrossRoads Youth and Family Services (CYFS) provides family support services to
at-risk children and their families through funding provided by the Texas
Department of Family and Protective Services’ Services to At-Risk Youth (STAR) program.
Services
available include:
Family
Counseling (Home and school –based):We provide short-term, goal-oriented counseling designed to deal
with the current crisis situation. We help families use their own skills
and strengths to help themselves.
Crisis
Intervention:We maintain a 24-hour Hot-Line to assist families in managing
difficult family situations.
Case
Management:We link families to other community agencies when other services
are needed for their health and well-being.
Skills
Training:
We
offer skills training in parenting, family communication, conflict
resolution, anger management and more.
These
services are funded by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
and are available free.
